We are working very hard to reschedule all of our canceled appointments. We will have this done by Sunday so that we can take appointments for those who did not already have an existing appointment by Monday. Please give us a call on Monday or send your stylist/technician a message on Monday or after to book an appointment. Please be patient with us when you call because we are expecting a high call volume. Please leave your name, number, the name of the stylists/ technician you would like to have the appointment with, and the service you would like to have done. We will call you back as soon as possible. It will be greatly appreciated if you leave a message rather than calling back so that the line doesn’t constantly stay busy. If you message your stylist/technician please be understanding if they don’t message you back until later that night as we will be working 9am-7 or 8pm to catch up. I promise we will get back to you as soon as we can.
❗️Just a few reminders for you come in for your first appointments.
❗️You will be required right wear a mask to your appointment.
❗️You must come to your appointment alone so that we can stay under the number of allowed people in the salon. If you’re bringing a child for a haircut one parent may accompany the child
❗️When you arrive text your stylist/technician and let them know you are there. Wait in your car until your stylist/technician comes out to get you or texts you to tell you to come in.
❗️If you have been sick or if someone in your household has been sick please be courteous and reschedule your appointment.

We are very excited to announce that Unique will be reopening on Monday, May 18th! We appreciate your patience during this trying time and we are so excited to see you all again. In order to reopen things will be a little different at Unique for the time being but keep in mind these changes are only temporary. We have put a lot of new practices into place to ensure the safety of our guests and our staff. We look forward to serving you again but ask for patience as we navigate a whole new way of serving you.
❗️When you arrive please wait in your car until your stylist/technician comes out to get you or sends you a text telling you that you may come in
❗️We ask that you wear a mask to protect yourself as well as your stylists/technician and other guests in the salon
❗️Upon entering you will be asked to use hand sanitizer
❗️Your stylist/technician will check you out in their room or at their station and help you book your next appointment or you may call the salon once you leave to schedule your next appointment.
❗️We ask that you please reschedule your appointment if you have had a fever in the past 14 days or if you have been sick, if someone in your household has had a fever or has been sick
❗️If you have traveled outside of VA in the past two weeks or have been in contact with someone infected with Covid 19
❗️If you have an appointment you will not be able to bring anyone with you as we can only have one guest per employee at a time. If you are bringing a child for a haircut you may have one parent present.
We would like to ensure you that we are doing everything in our power at Unique to ensure your safety and health during your service. Many changes are being put into place such as
*disinfecting all surfaces after each client
*disinfecting bathrooms and door handles frequently
*staff wearing masks
*hand washing after each guest
*disinfecting all instruments after each use
*Social distancing with a minimum of 7 feet between stations
Your stylist/technician will begin calling you to reschedule your appointments in the coming days. We are working extra hours but we are limited to how many clients we can see per day due to the guidelines. There can be no in between appointments or two appointments at a time per stylist so this will be an adjustment. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to taking care of you again! At this time we have not received the guidelines in order to reopen. These guidelines could change the number of employees that are allowed to work at a time, how many clients we can have in the salon at a time, supplies that will be required. These are things that we need answers to before we can begin to reschedule your appointments. Please be patient with us as we wait to receive all of the answers and guidelines. We are looking forward to seeing you all very soon! Your stylist/technician will reach out to you to reschedule when we are able.[04/21/20] We would like to give everyone an update. At this time the governor has stated that we can reopen on May 8th. This is what we’re hoping for but it is possible the date could be pushed up again if the the number of new cases doesn’t continue to drop in Virginia. We will continue to watch the updates given by the governor before we begin rescheduling clients. We should know for sure by May 1st if we will be able to reopen May 8th. At that time we will call and begin rescheduling your appointments. There will be new guidelines for us to follow so please be patient with us as we try to reschedule your appointments the safest and fairest way possible. We have missed you all so much and look forward to doing what we love again as soon as possible.Home - Unique Salon in Fairlawn, VA Today we received the news that the governor closed all unessential business including salons, spas, and barbershops for at least 30 days. This news is devastating and scary but we will overcome this. It is now out of our hands and to be honest I’m grateful that it is. Many salons have been struggling with keeping their doors open or closing because financially it is devastating to our businesses and our employees. However, this was the right choice and to get through this we must do our part. If you have an appointment in the next 30 days we will contact you but it will be impossible to reschedule your appointments at this time because we don’t know how long this will last.
